From the spread of a fake “GOP war on women” narrative, to an attempt to use contraception to position independent women voters against the free-market, self-responsibility positions of conservatives, Barack Obama and his allies have done everything possible to damage Romney’s support among women voters. According to new polling data, that entire effort is completely failing on all fronts.
A CBS/New York Times poll on the presidential race released Monday showed that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has not only moved ahead of President Barack Obama 46 percent to 43 percent among all registered voters, but also that Romney has moved ahead of Obama among female registered voters.
In the CBS/New York Times poll released a month ago, Obama led Romney among women 49 percent to 43 percent. In the new poll, Romney leads Obama among women 46 percent to 44 percent.
The Obama spin machine is responding to this brutal news by claiming the NYT poll is biased. Let me repeat, Obama camp claims the NYT is biased!
Obama campaign deputy manager Stephanie Cutter dismissed today’s CBS/New York Times poll showing that 67 percent of people believed Obama made his decision on gay marriage for political reasons. Only 24 percent said that Obama did it “mostly because he thinks it is right.”
The POTUS general election is finally starting to heat up and it looks like Obama is making all the wrong moves. Now the question is… will Romney start making the right moves?
