Violent Thuggery: Unions Warn of ‘Civil War’

-By Warner Todd Huston

Jimmy Hoffa, President of the Teamsters, warns that there will be a “civil war” if Michigan keeps its new right-to-work legislation in place.

During Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s Newsroom, Hoffa said, “”This is just the first round of a battle that’s going to divide this state. We’re going to have a civil war.”

Hoffa went on to lie about what is going on in Michigan, saying, “What they’re doing is basically betraying democracy. If there’s any question here, let’s put it on the ballot and let the people of Michigan decide what’s good for Michigan.”

I see. So, a democratically elected legislative body posits a law, then passes it then a democratically elected governor then signs it. And outside the halls of that democratically elected government following the democratically enacted laws of the state was a parade of criminals and thugs beating people up, cursing them out, destroying public and private property, and doing their best to win the day through intimidation and violence.

… and it’s the Republicans who are violating “democracy”?

Property destruction: another favorite union tactic. If they don’t like you, they destroy your property, try to beat you up. Or even kill you.

I hope that the company that rented this tent out can use this video to prosecute the union scum that destroyed their property.

Do you know who this criminal union thug is? Please let us know.

One last note: remember how in 2008 the entirety of the Old Media establishment was blaming conservatives and the GOP for it’s “violent rhetoric” because they used target images on electoral maps or because they were using terms like “let’s reload”?

Yet, here we have union thugs saying things like “civil war” and “there will be blood” and the Old Media ignores it.
