Why Is The Government Inciting Fear Via Military Drills, Military Equipment Movement, FEMA Vehicles And Large Quantity Ammo Repositioning?

I generally try not to touch on this sort of topic because I often find some readers immediately accuse us of fear mongering when doing so. I can no longer hold back, however, because the government is now fully engaged in fear mongering campaigns via the U.S. military that simply must be observed, reported on and questioned.

I’m going to list some very recent incidents that are occurring on AMERICAN soil, in AMERICAN cities. Take a look at each of them and tell me… why is the U.S. government doing all of this?

SOUTH HOUSTON ARMY DRILL SCARES RESIDENTS

Check this out.

The sight of Army helicopters and the sound of gunfire created a lot of concern Monday afternoon in one Houston neighborhood.

We received a lot of phones calls, Tweets and Facebook posts from worried neighbors, wondering what was going on.

SkyEye 13 HD was over the south side where at first look, it appeared there was a massive SWAT scene happening.

With military helicopters flying above her southeast Houston neighborhood, Frances Jerrals didn’t know what to think.

A school was placed on lockdown as guns were fired, armed men were present and residents were terrified into thinking they were in a war zone. This happened in Houston, folks. Houston. Not in the middle of a valley in Nevada. Houston, Texas.

Is this sort of military drill isolated to one major U.S. city? Nope.

MILITARY DRILL IN DOWNTOWN MIAMI

(See video to hear automatic military rifle fire from the sky over Miami)

Blackhawk Choppers flew over Miami firing machine guns (blanks) and local streets were shut down. This was explained as a drill, but most residents had no idea it was coming.

1.4 BILLION ROUNDS OF AMMO PURCHASED BY GOVERNMENT

You read that right… 1.4 BILLION rounds of ammunition was ordered by the fed within the past six months.

The Department of Homeland Security has purchased 1.4 billion rounds of ammunition- that is not a typo — during the last six months. This includes 450 million rounds of  .40 hollow point, 200 million rounds of .223 rifle ammunition, and 176,000 rounds of .308 168-grain hollow point boat tail (HPBT) that is used almost exclusively as ammo for sniper rifles.

Not surprisingly, there is now a national shortage on all caliber of ammo mentioned above. Now the government is ordering record amounts of 9mm ammo, which is playing right into the expanding problem. As reported Crest View Bulletin.

Kevin Camilli, who co-owns Grey Tactical Outfitters in Destin with Eli Caison, said he hasn’t been able to get ammunition in on a consistent basis for weeks.

“At some point I’ll get some in, but I don’t think it will be for a while,” Camilli said. “The government is buying a whole lot of it, which decreases the available supply. The munitions plants, there’s only a limited number of them, and every round they produce before it comes off the assembly line is already sold. When I’m putting an order in, I’m putting an order in for raw materials that haven’t even been mined yet. There is no stockpile of guns or ammo.”

Why on earth would Homeland Security need this much ammunition?

HOMELAND SECURITY ORDERS 7,000 “ASSAULT WEAPONS”

As if the ammo shortage wasn’t problematic enough, we’re now finding out the feds ordered some 7,000 semi-automatic rifles last June.

According to Steve McGough ofRadioViceOnline.com, DHS said the “select-fire” weapons are “suitable for personal defense use in close quarters.” The weapons sought by the DHS would be capable of semi-automatic and automatic fire and would be equipped with high-capacity 30-round magazines, the same type some want to see banned for use by civilians.

So if you’re wondering why the gun shows can’t keep a stock of AR-15 style rifles… now ya know why.

FEMA FIGHTING VEHICLES

What’s the heck is the deal with these monsters?

policeIndividuals around the US have begun reporting the site of strange, new, heavily-armed FEMA fighting vehicles. What would a disaster relief agency like FEMA need with 2,500 brand new GLS armored fighting vehicles? According to the agency’s own mandate, as well as President Obama’s recent Executive Order, the answer is ‘population control’ during a time of Martial Law.

One set of images made available by Rense.com shows trailer after trailer carrying these new DHS and FEMA armored fighting vehicles, complete with machine gun slots. They’re labeled with the usual backward American flag and the title, ‘Homeland Security’. Below that and the DHS logo, it also reads, ‘Immigration & Customs Enforcement’. Joining those markings, the black vehicles with white lettering also display ‘POLICE/RESCUE’ on one side and ‘Special Response Team’ on the other.

FEMA needs vehicles with machine gun slots??

AMMUNITION CONTAINERS REPOSITIONED IN MAJOR CITIES

As Jim Hoft reported, this seems odd.

Jim – I passed a convoy of olive drab unmarked 40 foot tractor trailers each with four 10 yard ammo bunker boxes chained to them and unmarked armored Hum-Vee’s heading north on I-95 in Brevard County, Florida this past Thursday morning. The “govt” is positioning these ammo storage boxes, I have been told, in strategic places in population centers around the country. They are usually painted olive drab and are unmarked except for indistinguishable numbers/letters probably for inventory, routing, etc.

Look, I’m not asserting anything here. I’m just curious as to why all of this is necessary and why it’s all being done here at home? This is the kind of activity you would expect to occur on military bases or overseas, not in downtown Miami.

The Obama administration and his ilk in Congress oftentimes accuse concerned Americans of causing fear in the minds of others. All of this posted above is certainly cause for concern, and it’s all happening at the will of the government.

So who exactly is spreading fear here?
