The PBS Antique Roadshow always has a few nuggets to gloat about at the following is one of the best out there. A man brought in a Rolex watch that he purchased while in the Army for $120 brand new before leaving Germany to head back home. That was back in the early 60’s.
Not only did he keep the watch in great condition, he also kept the band, the boxes and all of the original paperwork, including the receipt.
Turns out the watch is a first edition GMT Master Model Rolex. A rare find in and of itself. But with all the packaging and paperwork, it became one of a kind.
What’s it worth? Watch below to find out.
