‘F***ing N****rs Don’t Pay Their Bills’: Flint Official Resigns After Audio of Him Blames African-Americans for Water Crisis Surfaces (NSFW AUDIO)

Monday, Genesee County Land Bank sales manager Phil Stair tindered his resignation following shocking audio of him purportedly blaming African-Americans for the lead contamination of Flint, Michigan’s public water supply.

In the disturbing audio clip, Stair can be heard using a racial slur to describe African-Americans while allegedly blaming the black community’s failure to ‘pay their bills’ as the cause of the current water contamination crisis which effectively poisoned the city’s drinking supply with lead.

As MLive reports, in response to Stair’s horrific statement against the city’s predominantly black population, Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Mich.) has condemned the former county official stating “This behavior is awful and indefensible.”

Speaking on the matter, Genesee County Land Bank executive director Michele M. Wildman confirmed that Stair resigned in response to the audio being released.

“Flint has the same problems as Detroit — f*****g n****rs don’t pay their bills, believe me, I deal with them…”

As Truth Against the Machine reports, the comment came as Stair spoke with reporter and environmental activist Chelsea Lyons in regards to the water crisis affecting Flint on May 26th, 2017.

Additionally, TATM explains that Stair tried to clarify his comment to Lyons moments after, stating that:

“I don’t want to call them ni**ers, shit I just went to Myrtle Beach, 24 guys, and I was the only white guy; I got friends, I mean, there’s trash and there’s people that do this shit. They just don’t pay their bills. Well, Detroit, didn’t collect on their bills, so they charged everybody else, but- Flint- Flint had to pay their bill to Detroit.”
